Social media also drags you into the “comparison trap”, and whilst you’re busy comparing yourself to this and that celebrity, you aren’t focusing on your goals! A study published in PLOS One showed that people who engaged in aerobic activity every day had an increased chance of living longer than those who engaged in low levels of physical activity or not at all.

So it’s not just about how you look. By working to get the body of your dreams, you could actually allow yourself to live a healthier life all around.
