Make Healthier choices

Take a look at your lifestyle and see what little things you can change. Start by looking at your eating habits, does it consist of junk food and always eating out? We don’t think there’s anything wrong with a little treat every now and then but try to change to a more balanced diet.

Cooking doesn’t have to be hard and take hours out of your day, there are lots of recipes online to give you the inspiration you need.

Eating healthier makes you feel better on the inside which in turn reflects on the outside. Now you’ve changed your eating habits you may find you have more energy to burn, so head down to the local gym or go for a run in the fresh air. Getting moving not only affects your physical health but also your mental health leading to a more happy and confident you.

Indulge In Some Self-Care

Life gets busy and we tend to neglect our bodies. Take a moment to give yourself some due care and attention.

Allocate a few hours a week to focus on you, get that haircut you keep putting off, go get your legs waxed or have a manicure.

As well as cosmetic care you also need to look at your healthcare. A smile shows you’re confident so make sure your dental hygiene is up to date. Book yourself in for a professional clean; It doesn’t have to be expensive, there are lots of affordable dentistry procedures that you can have to brighten your smile.

Dress up!

We all have items in our wardrobe that make us feel good and that we know we look good in. The confidence that comes from wearing clothes you love and that show you at your best can be life changing.

What you wear sends a powerful signal to yourself about how you perceive your self-worth and directly impacts your confidence, your interaction with others and your esteem.

When you make the effort to dress your best, and show your body it is valued and respected, you will feel good about yourself, your confidence will soar and the ripple-effect will impact every aspect of your life.

When you make the effort to look good, you feel good and that encourages you to step out of your comfort zone and that’s where the magic happens

Make a vow to yourself to wear something every day that boosts your confidence, and have a look here for some more style tips!

Push Yourself out of your comfort zone

Time to push yourself out of your comfort zone, easier said than done we know. Why not sign up for some classes or a book club to get you started?

Whatever it is you’ve always wanted to do, do it! Trying new things and pushing the boundaries forces you to be confident. Be open to meeting new people.

Celebrate Your Achievements

Be proud of yourself, and don’t lose who you are. Be your true self, don’t take on too much or try to be something you’re not as you will lose confidence.

Make a list of what makes you you and embrace them. No matter how big or small your achievements are, celebrate them. Knowing you are good at something and celebrating your goals will make you more self-assured, leading to a new confident you.

We think if you implement these small changes into your life you will feel more confident in no time. Remember to embrace you and take time for yourself. For tips on the benefits of yoga check out 10 Reasons to practice Yoga
