Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch
If you’re looking for a wholesome, Gilmore Girls inspired Fall season, pumpkin picking is the perfect activity. Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch was founded in 1987 to provide a fun, educational environment for kids at Halloween, so the patch is great for families.
They supply pumpkins, gourds, and squashes, as well as a few giant pumpkins for those looking for something really special this Fall! Not only are there pumpkins available, but you can also have a go on the giant carved rocking horse, have some cuddle comfort in the petting zoo, or get lost in the straw maze. Make sure to book online before you go, as it can get pretty busy!!
Watch an outdoor screening of your favorite movie
Summer might have ended, but outdoor movies don’t have to! Plenty of outdoor theaters are screening spooky classics, and what better way to feel like you’re in a movie than to watch one?
Head to Street Food Cinema to catch Halloween favorites such as Twilight, Hocus Pocus or Beetlejuice, all of which are accompanied by a vast selection of food trucks. Go follow their Instagram to stay up to date with all their events this Fall! Or, if you’re looking for something a little less terrifying, Rooftop Cinema Club are screening La La Land and Mean Girls.
Live out your high school dreams at a Halloween party
If you do one thing this October, go to a Halloween party… or even throw your own! With so many amazing movies out in 2022, there’s no shortage of costumes to choose from. If you’re going with a group of people, why not choose a theme together? Stranger things, Minions, Twilight: it’s time to get creative! If you’re lacking in space at home, you can always hire out somewhere for your big event. You could even book a private party venue in Venice Beach; such a popular spot is sure to have everyone excited to dress up and dance all night.
With just these three activities, your October will be better than any Hollywood blockbuster could even imagine. There’s so much to do in Fall, so it’s a great season for friends, families, and couples. Not everyone can be the main character though, so if you want a picture perfect October then you need to start booking tickets as soon as possible!
