Welcome back to The Code of Style and this article about Humanity Heroes who are handing out backpacks to the homeless in Los Angeles between 15th and 22nd December 2020.

I just wanted to stop by quickly today to let you know about Humanity Heroes 6th Annual Skid Row Donation, where Advanced Nutrients Founder & CEO, Michael “BigMike” Straumietis and local volunteers will be handing out backpacks to the homeless.

Together they will be handing out over 5,000 backpacks filled with necessities to the Downtown Los Angeles homeless community at various shelter locations and along Skid Row between December 15th-22nd, 2020.

Not all heroes have capes – some have backpacks, and each backpack includes warm clothing, a blanket, and hygiene items needed during the winter season.

Since 2016, Humanity Heroes has donated over 9,000 of their “Humanity Packs”, filled with living supplies to homeless on the streets and in shelters.

This year, the charity has also already donated 17,000 face masks and 5,000 hygiene kits to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 throughout these unsheltered communities.

About Humanity Heroes

Humanity Heroes is a non-profit located in West Hollywood and founded by entrepreneur and philanthropist Michael “BigMike” Straumietis.

Their mission is to improve the quality of life for the impoverished and homeless through “direct action” campaigns, providing crucial living supplies to desperate homeless people living on the streets and in shelters across America.

The Heroes began by helping the homeless population in Los Angeles – a plight affecting nearly 60,000 people on any given night, and this year Humanity Heroes expanded its donations to 20 organizations and in five states-Colorado, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, and California.

How You Can Help

There are three ways you can work with Humanity Heroes to assist them in their mission: DonateVolunteer, and Partner with them to help ease the suffering of the thousands of homeless living in shelters and on the street.

Because the world needs heroes.
