The capsule, entitled “Reset“, is an ode to the brand’s mission in humanizing brands and eradicating global poverty through their divine social impact mission, radical supply chain, and manufacturing standards; and is available to pre-order, as of today exclusively on the brand’s e-commerce channel.

Our goal this year was to expand into ready-to-wear and provide more options for our customers, who want to wear sustainably made clothes; clothes that match their values. This collection is about pieces you’ll look forward to wearing when you’re not wearing denim, staples for your closet, and feel good, do good fashion.”

James Bartle, Founding CEO of Outland Denim.

The “Reset” edit is made from artisanal and organic European fabrics, crafting a story of luxurious, fluid shapes with a little edge – a celebration of ‘getting dressed’. Highlights include the Sarah Shirt Dress, Sarah Short, Lisa Skirt, and Lily Dress, made from 100% hand-loomed fabric, which gives each piece a distinctly unique, beautifully raw, and authentic finish, not found in machine-made materials.

Sourced from Five P, who are leaders in social and environmental sustainability and exist to celebrate and protect the textile weaving heritage in Chennimalai, Southern India, these handlooms further connect the consumer to its makers, humanizing garments as part of their social impact mission.

Coinciding with the brand’s ready-to-wear launch is a custom Heritage collection consisting of various t-shirts for men and women. Included in these staples is the Origins t-shirt – a unique design nodding to the brand’s history, featuring original artwork hand-drawn by a local artist Nelson Nokela, and references the mountain ranges of Tamborine Mountain.

The brand’s iconic ‘Harriet’ black denim, as made famous by the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle, is also back in stock as of today, with upgraded manufacturing standards – using “SaveBlack” technology, which uses 85% less water in the dying process.

Outland Denim’s garments are crafted using The Maeka Standard – the label’s stand-alone production and finishing facilities in Cambodia founded to offer holistic support, training, and employment to young women who have experienced exploitation, human trafficking, and other human rights violations. The company provides a living wage, education, and other benefits for its staff, and all seamstresses are trained across all aspects of garment making.

Raw materials are sourced from suppliers who excel in social and environmental responsibility. With a transparent supply chain, every button, rivet, and stitch minimizes the impact on the environment and mitigating the risk of exploitation in the supply chain.
