Hi everyone and Welcome to the The Code of Style Magazine., and this article about “Athletics Wear that will make you want to work out”.
I am the first person to admit that working out is more of a chore than a pleasure, and you are much more likely to find me shopping than jogging! However, the recent lockdown has made me feel a lot more proactive about my health and I have taken to working out at least three times a week.
In order to motivate me, I’ve been looking into athletics wear that will actually make me want to work out, and I think that investing in fitness clothes and looking good will inspire me to make the effort to work out so I can feel good too!
Now, whilst I admit I love to have athletics wear that is nice to look at, there is also a heap of technology that helps to make the choice of workout gear such an important decision. From UV protection, moisture management, breathability, seamless technology and muscle control, to name a few features, active wear has come a long way in recent years.
So, I want to share with you today, one of my latest discoveries : LA Collective. “Made in LA, Designed in LA, Inspired by LA”: LA Collective develops and builds brands with talented and influential individuals across the fashion & lifestyle arena.
The Founders
Jaynee & Karl Singer launched LA Collective with a vision to revolutionize the fashion manufacturing industry. Utilizing their wealth of knowledge in fashion, they have built a fashion industry leader in the active-wear space, and here is the philosophy behind their brand.
Made in LA
Los Angeles has historically had a thriving Fashion District, which in recent years has suffered from companies closing their doors and moving overseas. Jaynee and Karl believe there is nothing greater than being able to empower domestic labor and help re-build a skilled community of seamstresses’ in the fashion industry. So all their manufacturing and operations are run from LA.
Designed in LA
LA Collective partners with leading celebrities, personalities and style influencers to make their designs come to life. Their goal is to drop a capsule collection every few weeks that reflect the unique, bright and bold personalities of the icons behind them.
From Morgan Stewart’s minimalist and effortless styles to VITA LA’s unique washes & dyes, LA Collective is replacing the traditional designer with the style influencer themselves.
Inspired by LA
Whether it’s fashion, the arts, fitness or street culture – Los Angeles has something to offer for everyone, and LA collective’s collections embrace the diversity of California cultures. Whether it’s the beaches of Malibu, the promenades of Beverly Hills or the streets of Silverlake , they draw inspiration from their effortless LA style, and aim to share it with people everywhere.
VITA LA
Their “in-house” brand, VITA LA , features body-hugging seamless silhouettes, UV protection and is made from comfortable, breathable fabrics.
Here are the features you will find in all their products:
